Spain Under-21 Coach Julen Lopetegui has admitted it is 'time to celebrate' after his side qualified for the European Championships.
La Roja defeated Denmark 8-1 over a two-legged play-off, and the 46-year-old tactician has praised his side after their convincing displays.
“We can celebrate now after playing a good game against good opponents,” he told a Press conference. “It is not easy to qualify for the finals of a European Championship. I am very happy.
“The lads have done a fantastic job. It's time to celebrate.
“We have played a great game, and now we must travel forward to Israel. It will be a great experience for the boys, and a demanding tournament.
“I have to give full credit to the team for the way they have qualified.”
Spain join hosts' Israel, England, Italy, Germany Russia, Norway and Netherlands.
