Barcelona have confirmed that they will be appealing to UEFA over the two-game ban handed to Sergio Busquets this week.
The midfielder was handed the sanction as expected for his dismissal during La Blaugrana’s win at Benfica in the last round of action.
Barca have confirmed via a statement released on their official website that they will be appealing the two-game suspension for violent conduct.
Busquets was shown a red card for catching Benfica’s Maxi Pereira with a challenge and he is currently facing the prospect of missing the two upcoming matches against Celtic.
