Mauricio Pochettino believes his Espanyol side 'deserved three points' against Real Valladolid on Saturday.
Joan Verdu's penalty was cancelled out with 10 minutes to go by an Oscar header, but the 40-year-old Coach is of the opinion that his side were good value for a win.
“There was enough about us to get the three points,” he told a press conference. “The most important thing though, is that the players had enthusiasm and excitement – and that's what gives me peace of mind.
“The team has shown that it's alive. The players are in shock [that we've drawn].”
