Rayo Vallecano Coach Paco Jemez has claimed he is delighted with the team's 2-1 win over Deportivo La Coruna.
The former Spain international guided his side to a hard-fought victory over Jose Luis Oltra's men, and has admitted the three points gained were vital.
“The result is a very important one for us,” he told the club's official website. “I am very happy. The team worked hard and came out on top. The players' deserved the win after all the work they put in.
“We had some moments where we were poor, but we created a lot of chances and defended very well.
“It's a good win, and we're on our way to where we want to be.”
