Atletico Madrid are discounting tickets for the weekend match with Malaga in an attempt to fill the Vicente Calderon to capacity.
Both Atleti and Malaga go into Sunday evening’s clash undefeated from the opening six rounds of action in the League.
Should Real Madrid beat Barcelona in the earlier kick-off then the game would also be an opportunity for Diego Simeone’s side to take top spot in the table.
Looking for the 12th man to help them, the club have taken the step of halving ticket prices for the match, from between €30 and €80 down to between €15 and €40.
The move is seen as a way of competing against the unpopular kick-off time of 9.30pm local time and the numbers who might choose to watch the Clasico instead.
The club are also holding a competition to give away four tickets to the fan that comes up with the best reason to watch Atleti-Malaga, instead of Barcelona-Real Madrid.
