Atletico Madrid winger Cristian Rodriguez has claimed that his side were poor in their 1-0 win over Viktoria Plzen.
The Uruguay international scored a last minute winner to give Diego Simeone's side the three points against their Czech opponents, but the 27-year-old has conceded that they were underwhelming throughout the 90 minutes.
“I am happy with the win,” he told AS. “We played badly for some parts of the game, but it ended well and I'm very happy with my goal.
“We are still top of our group and we have to continue working hard. Plzen are a good team and they worked well. But on the positive side, we won.
“Now we have to rest. The fixture list is very demanding and after we've rested we'll start thinking about our next game [against Malaga].”
