Rayo: The case continues…

Raul Martin Presa has given an update on Rayo Vallecano’s search for the vandals that disrupted their match with Real Madrid last month.

Rayo had to postpone the game by 24 hours after as-yet-unidentified parties entered the stadium and cut the power cables to half of the Vallecas and its floodlights.

President Presa called in the police to take fingerprints and investigate what he labelled as an act of ‘football terrorism’. Talking today, Presa has given an update on developments.

“We have tightened security and have tried to put in place all the steps that we can within our reach,” he told reporters today.

“The police investigation has leads and we trust them in finding who is responsible for cutting the cables.”

Presa also went out of his way to say that: “Rayo’s fans are an example of behaviour.”
