Roque: Malaga want three points

Malaga striker Roque Santa Cruz says Los Blanquiazules want all three points from their Champions League clash with Anderlecht.

The Costa del Sol club head a group that includes Zenit St. Petersburg and Milan after the 3-0 victory over the Russians in their opening game at La Rosaleda, and Santa Cruz is hoping Manuel Pellegrini’s men will take that form into the match with Anderlecht in Brussels.

“The aim is to continue this good run. Ideally we’ll carry on as we have been doing and keep gaining in confidence.
“I think we’ll do well. We must do a good job,” the Paraguayan told assembled reporters on the team’s arrival in the Belgian capital.

“We’ll be going all out for three points because it’s possible to win here, but they are a good team that will want to assert their home advantage.”

On a personal level, Santa Cruz has fond memories of the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium, having scored on a previous visit with former club Bayern Munich and dedicating the goal to his still unborn son.
