Koke says that Atletico Madrid are enjoying their run of form, not getting distracted by the praise, nor feeling any signs of vertigo.
The capital club are currently second in the table after an unbeaten start to the League season, but Koke says it is not a position that is beyond their limits.
“There is no vertigo at all, just satisfaction in seeing that we are doing things correctly,” he told today’s Press conference.
“We are looking at things day by day and game by game and we will continue like this and in looking forward to the next game always try to win it.
“We have to believe that we are doing things right. We have to be in a game by game mindset. It is what we talk about in the dressing room and things are going very well.
“We have to continue like this and not think about anything else.”
The attacker was prompted, just as his Coach was, to discuss the weekend meeting with Malaga and the possibility of results going their way and seeing them top the table.
“We are just thinking about tomorrow. We are not thinking about the weekend, we are focused on the Europa League, thinking about winning Thursday’s game and what comes in the next game we will then see.”
Thursday’s game is at home to Czech side Viktoria Plzen.
“We know that every game is difficult, especially in Europe. They are a tough opponent because they have a very direct style of play. We will try to play our game and take the win.”
