Midfielder Sergio Busquets said he was pleased with the spirit Barcelona showed in coming from behind to beat Sevilla 3-2.
La Blaugrana recovered from a two-goal deficit to snatch victory in injury time and the Spanish international declared himself satisfied that Tito Vilanova’s men never gave up.
“When a team goes ahead against you without doing almost anything then it is an error on your part, but the best thing was that we never gave up. However, the worst thing was Thiago Alcantara’s injury,” he told a Press conference.
Busquets was celebrating his 200th game in a Barcelona shirt and says he hopes there are many more to come.
“It’s good to have reached the 200 mark. I’m young and I hope I can keep on celebrating with victories like this. Now we have to face Benfica and we also want a win in the Champions League.”
He also commented on the 72nd minute sending off of Sevilla midfielder Gary Medel for a head butt on Cesc Fabregas.
“Cesc asked him for the ball and he head butted him. I don’t know with how much force but it was a sending off,” said Busquets.
