Mauricio Pellegrino congratulated Valencia for defeating Real Zaragoza, enthusing that there is a lot to take forward from their performance.
Los Che defeated Real Zaragoza 2-0 at Mestalla on Saturday to record only a second win of the season. It was matched with a performance that left Pellegrino encouraged.
“There is room for improvement in the team, but the team played like men and there is much to take from this for future games,” he told reporters after the game.
Pellegrino is also reported as post-match stressing the importance of the attitude of the team for the final 30 minutes of play, when they were reduced to 10 men for Sofiane Feghouli’s second yellow card.
