Rosell: Sign Ramos? Never say never

President Sandro Rosell has jokingly refused to rule out the possibility of Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos joining his Barcelona.

Rosell is currently in New York and during an interview with ESPN he was questioned on Ramos’ situation with Los Blancos, where he was dropped for last week’s Champions League clash with Manchester City, and whether Barca would ever sign him.

“Sergio Ramos is unhappy at Madrid? Never say never, but I don’t think so,” replied Rosell with a broad smile on his face.

He also referred to the Catalan club’s interest in Brazilian international striker Neymar, who has been strongly linked with a move to the Camp Nou for some time.

”Neymar is one of those players who is different, the type our supporters love, but he is a Santos player until 2014,” answered Rosell diplomatically.

On the fight for the Ballon d’Or, he was asked to give his opinion on whether Lionel Messi or Andres Iniesta should win it.

“It’s all the same to us because they both deserve it. After all, football is a team sport.”
