Fernando Gago and Ever Banega have both returned to training with the main group at Valencia after respective absences.
Gago has been cleared to return to full training after suffering a head injury whilst on international duty. The injury delayed his return home by a week, but he was recently granted an all clear from Los Che’s medical staff and was welcomed back to the group today.
Banega, however, was a surprise face to be seen alongside his teammates. The midfielder is ahead of schedule in entering the final stretch of his so-far-seven-month recovery from a double leg break in February.
The 24-year-old broke both his tibia and fibula when his car rolled over his leg at a gas station. Club doctors had only last week asserted that the player would be back with the team at the end of the first week of October, but he was back today for some light work with his peers.
