Malaga midifielder Jeremy Toulalan will sit out the club's first ever Champions League tie tomorrow night against Zenit St. Petersburg.

The 29-year-old France international has been struggling for a number of weeks with a hamstring injury, and has now been left out of the squad to face Zenit.

Having failed to regain his fitness in time for the game, the former Lyon man will watch from the sidelines along with new signing Oguchi Onyewu.

Other summer acquisitions Javier Saviola and Roque Santa Cruz have made the squad, and will hope to feature against Luciano Spaletti's Russian champions in the Group C clash.
