No Dos Santos yet for Mallorca

Mexican winger Giovani dos Santos will have to wait to make his Mallorca debut after being ruled out of Sunday’s trip to Osasuna.

The former Barcelona player, who moved to the holiday island from Tottenham last month, is still struggling with the hamstring injury that kept him out of Mexico’s Olympic Final triumph against Brazil last month.

He joins Victor Casadesus and Alvaro Gimenez on the sidelines ahead of the match at El Sadar. However, Mallorca Coach Joaquin Caparros has named Javier Arizmendi in a 18-man squad after the former Valencia, Deportivo and Atletico Madrid overcame a knock.

Meanwhile, Mallorca's Israeli international goalkeeper Dudu Aouate has urged his teammates not to take anything for granted as they head to Pamplona looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season.

Osasuna have yet to register a point this season but Mallorca have won just once in their last 12 visits to El Sadar in the top flight.
