Cristiano Ronaldo will meet Real Madrid President Florentino Perez on Thursday evening, reports AS.
Although no get-together has been planned, both will come face-to-face when the club’s official photo for the 2012-13 season is taken at its Valdebebas training headquarters.
AS understands that Perez will try to find out Ronaldo’s intentions regarding Los Blancos and hopes to continue the reconciliation with the club attempted by boss Jose Mourinho on Wednesday.
Perez is aware of the Portuguese star’s importance to the Spanish champions and wants to see him happy at the Santiago Bernabeu, while Ronaldo’s message on his return from international duty that he was ‘focused on winning, not contracts’ will have given him further encouragement.
However, Perez still needs to convince fans who are still waiting for Ronaldo to apologise for his remarks after the 3-0 win over Granada.
