Cadamuro admits to Sociedad bust-up

Real Sociedad defender Liassine Cadamuro has admitted he had a bust-up with boss Philippe Montanier and President Jokin Aperribay.

The Algerian international [pictured, left], who figured just 19 times in La Liga last season and is yet to start this term, says he had a disagreement with the pair about his lack of games but refused to reveal details of the conversation.

“It’s true I had a disagreement with the Coach and President, but what was said is going to remain private,” he told Algerian magazine Competition while preparing for his country’s game against Libya.

“It’s not that I lack rhythm. It’s more to do with the coach’s choice. I strive to the maximum during training to try and earn a place.

“It’s obvious I will get my chance after being on the bench and I hope to have more playing time because that is important to me.”

Cadamuro took part in all the Txuri-urdin’s pre-season games and expressed surprise he was jettisoned as soon as the Primera season started.

“I played all the warm-up games but after that it was up to the Coach whether I play or not.

“It’s true that when you play for your national team that the boss wants players who are ready, so I’ll try to make up for lost time by playing against Libya,” he added.
