Milan explain Kaka, Bojan deals

Adriano Galliani has explained why Milan did not complete a deal for Ricardo Kaka this summer and the situation with Bojan Krkic’s future.

Kaka remained at Real Madrid this summer despite the Rossoneri hold two rounds of negotiations to re-sign the 30-year-old.

“We couldn’t make Kaka an economical offer without the consent of Real Madrid,” Galliani told Sky Sport Italia today.

“We wanted to take him on loan, but they only wanted to sell him outright and we couldn’t go over their heads.”

Galliani also revealed that the club have reached an agreement with Barcelona on a fee to pay next summer if they want to keep Bojan Krkic beyond June 2013.

“We have an option for Bojan with Barcelona, but they have a counter option as well,” he explained. “Technically the player is on loan to us from Roma.”

The director also had time to add his thoughts on Cristiano Ronaldo’s unhappy state of mind.

“Ronaldo? I’d like to be as unhappy as he is… There is no chance that he can arrive in Italy. Players who earn that much can not be signed by us.”
