After completing the signing of Barcelona’s Ibrahim Afellay, Schalke has sent Spaniard Jose Manuel Jurado out to Spartak Moscow.
Jurado moved to Gelsenkirchen in summer 2010 from Atletico Madrid, the same summer that Raul Gonzalez made the move to the Germans.
However, having struggled for playing time in recent months, the winger has been replaced in the squad by Barca’s Afellay and has now agreed a switch to Unai Emery’s Spartak.
The 26-year-old Real Madrid youth product moves to the Russians for an undisclosed fee.
