Valencia confirm Pablo sale

Valencia have confirmed the sale of Pablo Hernandez to Swansea City, subject to personal terms being agreed and a medical being passed.

The 27-year-old, who has been the subject of a rumoured €7m bid from the Welsh side, will now travel to the UK to finalise the deal.

Earlier today, reports indicated that Valencia’s sporting director Braulio Vazquez and Coach Mauricio Pellegrino had met to OK  the deal and to discuss possible replacements.

The news of Pablo’s transfer to Michael Laudrup’s side has been confirmed via a brief statement posted on Los Che’s website.

“Valencia have reached an agreement with Swansea City for the transfer of footballer Pablo Hernandez, who has travelled to Wales to undergo a medical.

“The club wishes to thank Pablo for his professionalism and involvement throughout his career with our team and wish him all the luck in his new sporting career.”

Pablo has made 157 appearances for Valencia in four years, scoring 25 goals along the way.
