After thrashing HJK Helsinki by 6-0 in the first leg in Bilbao, Athletic now have to go through the formality of the return leg in Finland.
Helsinki have been forced to completely change their attacking outlook for the return leg at home, Gambian midfielder Demba Savage and Finish player Mikko Sumusalo and have both been left out of the return fixture.
The Basque outfit are without stars Fernando Llorente and Javi Martinez, with the former requesting a move and the centre-back completing a move to Bayern Munich in midweek. Influential players such as Ander Herrera and goalkeeper Gorka Iraizoz have both been rested.
