Highly-rated attacking midfielder Antoine Griezmann has handed Real Sociedad a boost by agreeing an extension to his contract.
The signing of extra one year to his contract comes just a couple of days after he declared his intention to turn down any advances Athletic Bilbao were rumoured to be planning.
Griezmann’s new deal runs until June 2016 and is reportedly set to make him the club’s best paid player. Initial negotiations on this new contract apparently began as far back as February.
