France boss Didier Deschamps has revealed that Antoine Griezmann will sort out his Atletico Madrid future before the World Cup.
Griezmann, who has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona this summer despite reports this week that he is set to continue at Atleti, is currently in Clarefontaine preparing with France ahead of this summer’s tournament.
Deschamps, a World Cup winner with the French in 1998, says the striker is unperturbed by rumours of where he will play next season.
“It does not bother him because he said he will fix the situation before the World Cup and that’s what he will do,” Deschamps told reporters.
“After that, we’ll have to see what he chooses. It could be we have to talk about it and perhaps we’ll need to analyse it again, but in the end it’s him who will decide.”
