Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has announced a provisional list of 20 players to be enrolled with the Spanish League for next term.
Homegrown youngsters Joel and Borja have been surprisingly left without jerseys for the forthcoming season and both are now considering their futures at the club, reports AS.
Surprisingly, defender Jorge Pulido has been retained after it looked as if the 21-year-old would be loaned out for the 2012-13 campaign
However, Diego Godin and Joao Miranda may both be on their way out of the Vicente Calderon before the close of the transfer window and Simeone does not want to be left short of defensive cover.
Some players have taken advantage of the empty shirts by switching the numbers they wore last season.
Raul Garcia gets the No 8 that belonged to Salvio and Koke vacates the No 19 shirt in favour of No 6.
Turkish midfielder Arda Turan, meanwhile, takes the No 10 and Filipe inherits the No 3 worn by Antonio Lopez. Pulido has also changed the No 24 for No 12.
