Deportivo de La Coruna have reached agreement with Atletico Madrid to take Portuguese winger Pizzi on loan next season, reports Sport.
The 22-year-old – real name Luis Miguel Alfonso Fernandez – was on loan from Braga at the Vicente Calderon last term but Atleti have secured a further 12-month agreement and immediately farmed him out on a similar arrangement to the Galicians.
Pizzi, who also had spells with Ribeirao, Covilha and Pacos Ferreira since signing for Braga from his local club Braganca in 2007, made just 11 La Liga appearances in the 2011-12 campaign, scoring once when coming on as a substitute for Tiago in a 3-2 defeat of Levante.
However, Los Rojiblancos are understood to consider him as one to watch for the future and feel he will benefit from getting the playing time he needs with Depor on their return to the top flight.
