Andres Iniesta confessed that winning Euro 2012 had been ´unique` and ´magical`, claiming every moment of it must be enjoyed.
“We are very happy to have won the competition again because it is something unique, magical and we have got to enjoy the moment,” the Spain midfielder told Tele 5.
“It was a very complete game from our point of view as we moved the ball quickly, were aggressive further up the pitch and scored two goals in the first half, although it was perhaps key in the second half when they went down to 10 men.”
On the other hand, Iniesta attempted to play down his third Man of the Match award of the tournament.
“The important thing is that Spain are the champions, which is what we came here for, and we reached the last game in the best possible shape,” he insisted.
