Valencia are hopeful of signing Celta Vigo midfielder Daniel Wass this summer, according to reports in the Spanish press.
The Danish international is out of contract at Estadio Balaidos in June 2019 and a report in Marca now states Valencia are confident of landing him in a value deal at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has made 125 appearances at Celta following a 2015 moves from French club Evian, while he has previously stated he wants to retire at Brondby.
Wass was heavily linked with a move to Sevilla earlier in the season, but it is thought that the exit of Eduardo Berizzo – his former Celta Coach – ensured the deal collapsed.
