Carles Puyol claims Neymar ‘could join’ Real Madrid and ‘doesn’t see any problem with it’, despite his Barcelona past.
Madrid have been heavily touted as Neymar’s next destination if he leaves Paris Saint-Germain, and Puyol – who played with the Brazilian forward at Camp Nou during the 2013-14 campaign – accepted the move could happen.
“I think he could join Madrid, yes,” the former Barca captain told Estadao.
“I don’t see any problem with it. He’s a professional and it’s not that farfetched, but I think it’ll be difficult for him to leave PSG because they spent a lot of money on signing him.”
