Agent: Casillas rumours crazy

The agent of Iker Casillas has hit back at the ‘crazy rumours’ surrounding their client and his future at Portuguese giants Porto.

Carlo Cutropia was responding to media claims the goalkeeper would be sold in January and manager Sergio Conceicao was unhappy with the former Real Madrid player’s work ethic and use of his mobile phone at training.

“These rumours are among the craziest I’ve seen, they hold no truth,” Cutropia is quoted by Diario AS as telling Radio Renascenca in Portugal.

“Iker is relaxed and he is happy at the club. Of course he wants to play and yes ok, it does seem a little strange that right now he is not, but he is just a normal footballer.

“He speaks to the manager regularly but what is discussed is between both of them and everybody else must give this time.

“I have read and heard many things which have no truth, and that’s all I can say on the matter.”
