Bosz: Injuries won’t affect Madrid

Borussia Dortmund Coach Peter Bosz does not believe Real Madrid will be any weaker despite a host of first-team absentees.

German international midfielder Toni Kroos returns to the fold for Los Blancos after an injury ruled him out of the trip to Alaves but Marcelo, Theo Hernandez, Jesus Vallejo, Mateo Kovacic and Karim Benzema are among those unavailable.

“I don’t think Real are any weaker because they have injuries,” Bosz told his pre-match press conference.

“We are also missing some of our players, but that won’t change our style of playing football.

“Real have so many good players so if they are missing one, two or even three players it won’t affect them.”

Zinedine Zidane has called on his son Luca to form part of the squad alongside young defenders Alvaro Tejero and Achraf Hakimi.

Real Madrid squad:Navas, Casilla, Luca Zidane, Carvajal, Sergio Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Achraf, Tejero, Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Llorente, Asensio, Isco, Ceballos, Ronaldo, Bale, Lucas Vazquez, Mayoral.
