Cristiano Ronaldo and Mateo Kovacic both missed Real Madrid’s final training session for their La Liga opener against Deportivo La Coruna.
Ronaldo will not take part at Riazor on Sunday due to his suspension for pushing the referee in the Supercopa, while Kovacic is still recovering from a knock to his hip.
Also joining them on the sidelines was young defender Jesus Vallejo, who remains out with a thigh injury.
Castilla right-back Achraf Hakimi and goalkeeper Luca Zidane – son of Coach Zinedine – trained in the trio’s absence and could subsequently face Depor.
