Celta Vigo defender Gustavo Cabral looks set to join Serie A outfit Genoa in a deal which could reach up to €4m, say reports.
El Mundo Deportivo cite a report in La Gazzetta dello Sport which states the 31-year-old is closing in on a move to the Italian side and should be completed this week.
The Argentine made 45 appearances in all competitions for the Galicians last season, helping them to the last four of both the Copa Del Rey and Europa League.
Cabral has spent five seasons at Estadio Balaidos and has made over 150 appearances for the club, and has been elevated to their ‘third captain’.
He would replace fellow Argentine Ezequiel Munoz at Genoa, who has joined Leganes.
