Barcelona are reportedly considering a swoop for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder and former Real Madrid man Angel Di Maria.
According to Le Parisien, Arda Turan has already “emptied his locker” and decided to leave Barca this summer.
Consequently, the Blaugrana are “interested” in Di Maria, who is a player in Arda’s ilk and has the advantage of being Lionel Messi’s Argentina teammate.
The 29-year-old spent four years at Madrid between 2010 and 2014, winning a La Liga title, two Copa del Reys and a Champions League, before joining PSG via Manchester United.
MD adds he would fit Barca’s requirement of being able to function as a winger and left-sided midfielder, given Andres Iniesta “cannot play 60 or 50 straight games anymore”.
