Griezmann ‘ready to go’

Antoine Griezmann’s future at Atletico Madrid has been plunged into further doubt by stating he is ‘ready to go’ as he wants ‘to win titles’.

The French forward said on Monday his chances of joining Manchester United this summer were ‘six out of ten’ but he has appeared to go further into suggesting a move with follow-up comments.

"Today, if I have to move, it will not be a problem for me," the 26-year-old is quoted as saying by L’Equipe on Tuesday.

"It may be England, which is in fashion, Germany, China or the United States, I'm ready to go.

"I want to win titles.

"We finished third in La Liga, it was the objective of the club, but we, the players, want more.

"Winning titles is what I will look for this summer when deciding on my future."

The 26-year-old netted 26 goals this season and has been long been linked with a summer move to Old Trafford, but any deal may be dependent on Atletico’s transfer ban being lifted.
