Granada goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa remains confident his side can escape relegation this year and has called on his teammates to stay united.
The Mexican shot-stopper was speaking ahead of his side’s visit to Malaga – the club which Ochoa is on loan at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes from – and he believes last week’s win over Sevilla gives the side a solid platform.
“The main thing is to keep aiming for three points every week, that is what is necessary for us at the moment as our position is not what we want,” explained the 31-year-old.
“In addition, we should not look at the names of our opponents; we have to think about the points which are the only important aspect, especially those we have at home.
"Throughout my career I have gone through experiences like the one in Granada – and whilst it’s not easy being at this end of the table there are always solutions.
“The best answer is hard work. We have to believe and to trust in each other at all times, to stay united.
“There is a lot of tournament to play, games to do, we have to be convinced in What we do, that's the key.”
The win over Sevilla was El Grana’s first in the league this campaign and saw them rise off the bottom of the table as they leapfrogged Osasuna.
