Las Palmas will be without midfield talisman Roque Mesa and several others for Sunday’s trip to Alaves in La Liga.
Speaking at a Press conference before the game, Coach Quique Setien also confirmed defenders Mauricio Lemos and Aythami, plus possibly Kevin-Prince Boateng, would join Mesa in being absent for Las Palmas at Mendizorroza.
“I’m expecting a very balanced match,” he went on to explain.
“We’ll try to have the ball, but it won’t be easy and there will be times when we’ll suffer a lot.
“They are strong, intense and do things well, so we expect a very balanced and difficult game.
“They have quality and quick players, but we’re also strong so I should be a very balanced match.
“No Roque Mesa? Although he’s an important player, we hope to not have trouble in this regard.
“Kevin-Prince Boateng? We’ll wait on him until the last minute.”
