Gerard Pique has admitted rivals Real Madrid are the best team in La Liga, but is confident the Barcelona fans can help his side to victory on Saturday.
The Catalans host Zinedine Zidane’s side in a crunch El Clasico match on Saturday afternoon with a six-point gap to the top following Barca’s back-to-back league draws against Malaga and Real Sociedad.
"It's a very important match and I know that the fans will respond,” Pique told AS.
"We're playing against a great team, the best in the league, because that is where they are now. Right now they are the best team in this league."
The 29-year-old also admitted his side were second best in Sunday’s clash at Anoeta, and cited attitude as the main problem for Luis Enrique’s side.
"Yes (La Real were better) by play, but above all by attitude,” he continued.
"In the first half the team weren't there. In the second half we improved but playing like that it will be difficult to win La Liga.
"The leaders [Real Madrid] have moved two points further clear but that's what concerns me least now.
"At times you can win a game while losing in style of play, but the other thing [attitude] is more worrying.''
