Betis need better home form – Sanabria

Real Betis striker Tonny Sanabria believes his side need to do ‘everything possible’ to try and reverse their recent poor form at home.

Los Verdiblancos welcome Las Palmas to Estadio Benito Villamarin on Friday evening having lost their previous two home matches as they have slipped to 14th in the standings, leading to the departure of Gus Poyet who has been replaced by Victor Sanchez del Amo.

“We need to do everything possible to reverse our recent form as we know that it’s not good enough for this club,” explained Sanabria.

“The last two games at home did not go the way we wanted, but we always try our best and try to give our great forms what they deserve.

“Before Las Palmas we expect the fans to receive us as normal – full of enthusiasm and very eager to help us, and we must do all we can to make them happy.

“It’s a very important match and a win would give us a massive boost and obviously the perfect start for the new manager.”

A win for Las Palmas could take them temporarily into a European spot in sixth place.
