Diego Costa has revealed he misses living in Spain and still looks for Atletico Madrid's results, but is happy at Chelsea.
Costa was the subject of a public pursuit by Atletico over summer as Diego Simeone wished for the striker to return to the club where he spent four years but they eventually signed Kevin Gameiro from Sevilla instead.
"I do miss Spain a little, I liked Madrid a lot and have some very happy memories there but I am happy in London now," the 27-year-old told Spanish media.
"I always follow Atletico and watch what they're doing – they're really strong at the moment and I am so happy for them.
"Atletico have been at this level for quite a few years now – battling for every trophy and beating the best sides, they definitely deserve it."
Costa was speaking ahead of Spain's double header with Italy and Albania.
