Diego Simeone has admitted that criticism of him and his team is 'fair' if they don't pick up good results.
Speaking to AS, Simeone confessed it was a results business and that failure to win would justify critics.
"It is fair that we are criticised when results are not what we want and expect," said the Atletico boss.
"Good results are a requirement for us and it's what is expected.
"We need to improve and to seek alternatives to win, Celta is another tough match so we will have to work really hard to win."
The Argentine had 'no comment' on the club's transfer ban, but did admit that "we had planned for alternatives" as a result of the ban.
