Robert Fernandez refuses to speculate about future Barcelona Coaches as ‘Luis Enrique is ideal and we want him for many years.’
The sporting director has spoken at length to Mundo Deportivo and, after Enrique won the treble in his first year on the bench, Fernandez doesn’t want to consider who might take over.
“I wouldn’t know who we’d go for if he decided to leave,” he admitted.
“I wouldn’t in my life coach Barca. I won’t. I’ve had enough of coaching. Barca isn’t like any other team. I go to watch them coaching sessions because I like Barca, not because I want to be a Coach.
“If it happens, I’ll know what to do. But I’m not considering Luis’ departure now. He’s our Coach and we want him to be here for many years. It’s my challenge. I can’t think of anyone else because he is our ideal Coach.”
