Espanyol have confirmed the signing of midfielder Pape Diop from Levante on a three-year deal.
The Senegal international mutually rescinded his contract with the Valencians to make the move north and subsequently passed a medical on Monday morning.
He has plenty of experience in Spanish football, representing Gimnastic Tarragona and Racing Santander before Levante, whom he joined in 2012.
Diop, 29, also holds French and Senegalese citizenship, meaning he will not occupy a non-EU place in the team, and becomes Espanyol's eighth and final signing of the summer.
