Madrid finally agree De Gea deal?

Reports in England and Spain understand an agreement has been reached in principle for David de Gea's transfer to Real Madrid from Manchester United.

Marca was the first publication to run the line, explaining that a fee of around €30m had been agreed for the goalkeeper to finally seal his return to Spain.

However, Keylor Navas does not form part of negotiations, although United are seemingly looking to the Costa Rican as a replacement for De Gea in a separate round of talks.

De Gea has not made a competitive appearance for United this season, with manager Louis van Gaal citing the player's lack of focus in light of the speculation.

The Red Devils have already sold Anders Lindegaard to West Brom and could make it a hat-trick of custodial departures as Victor Valdes has reportedly been targeted by Marseille.
