Granada make second signing

Granada have announced the signing of Gabon international defender Yrondu Musavu-King from French side Caen on a five-year contract.

The 23-year-old, who has been capped eight times for the Panthers and represented them at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, is the Andalucians’ second signing of the summer after former Almeria winger Edgar Mendez.

“[Musavu-King] is a player of great potential. He’s fast, aggressive and has things to improve on, but he comes to strengthen the first team,” sporting director Juan Carlos Cordero told reporters.

Musavu-King helped Caen survive in Ligue 1 at the first time of asking following their promotion in 2013-14.
