Dani Alves has signed a new two-year contract with Barcelona, ending speculation about his future at the club.
La Blaugrana have confirmed that the right-back has agreed terms and the deal includes the option for a third year.
Alves had been strongly linked with Milan and Manchester United, as well as Paris Saint-Germain, while Barca this week completed the signing of Aleix Vidal from Sevilla.
Vidal can’t play for Barca until January, when the club’s transfer embargo will be lifted, while Luis Enrique's squad also contains Martin Montoya and Douglas in the right-back position.
Alves had at one point excoriated Barca for their handling of negotiations but has now agreed to stay at Camp Nou until at least 2017.
