Enrique: Valencia one of the best

Luis Enrique is under no illusions as to the size of the task facing Barcelona when they host Valencia. “They’re one of the best in the League.”

The Catalans lead the Primera by two points from Real Madrid and, at his pre-match Press conference, Enrique spoke of Los Che’s season so far.

“It’s one of seven key games, no doubt. They’re on a roll and in a spectacular dynamic,” the Coach commented, AS reports.

“They’re one of the best in the League and work very well. They’re very good in defence and dangerous in attack. It will be difficult.

“For me the Paris Saint-Germain match doesn’t exist. There is Valencia. When Tuesday comes, we’ll speak, because the result [against PSG] is good but not definitive.

“It’s necessary to call on our fans. They’re important and bring us forward. There will be times we’re not lucid and we will need them. You have to know the weight of Camp Nou.

“Clearly Valencia are rested since they only play one game a week. I guess they would rather play three. We’re used to these short cycles.

“I’m exhausted and I didn’t play a minute, but I am 20 years older than the players. So I reiterate that the players need to feel the heat from the crowd.”
