Valencia’s Nuno Santo has been named La Liga’s Coach of the Month for February by Spain’s Professional Football League (LFP).
The Portuguese, who was only placed in charge last summer, led Los Che to four consecutive victories against Espanyol, Getafe, Cordoba and Real Sociedad last month.
Their impressive run of results have seen them consolidate fourth spot, six points clear of nearest Champions League challengers Sevilla and just one behind reigning champions Atletico Madrid.
The LFP’s official website has also given a special mention to Argentine forward Pablo Piatti, who scored four of Valencia’s eight La Liga goals in February.
