Enrique wary of Levante

Luis Enrique has called for maximum concentration and intensity as Barcelona host Levante on Sunday evening.

Enrique also spoke about the departure of Eusebio Sacristan, who was this week sacked as Coach of Barca B, with some sections of the Press suggesting he was losing allies at Camp Nou after Andoni Zubizarreta was also given his marching orders.

“Eusebio and Zubizarreta gone a warning? That I’m next you mean? That’s a question for the President. I’m as usual,” he began, joking, according to AS.

“I don’t like saying goodbye to Coaches. He did a great job with the B team and has worked a lot with the first team, but only the President can give an explanation. That’s football for Coaches.

“This game is a trap. We have to remain strong and 100% attentive. Football is a strange sport because you can win without attacking.

“You can take advantage of a transition and spend the next 80 minutes in your area and win. The game requires maximum concentration and intensity, and to make it difficult from the first minute.

“I don’t trust any opponent that’s in a difficult situation. Hopefully we play a good game. It’s a challenge and we will try to be effective.”
