Emery: No Sevilla signings

Unai Emery has insisted that Sevilla do not need any reinforcements in personnel this month, despite their mounting injury list.

The Andalucians must make do without key quartet Grzegorz Krychowiak, Stephane M’Bia, Benoit Tremoulinas and possibly Nicolas Pareja against their regional rivals this afternoon, but the Coach is refusing to panic just yet.

“I expect to face a great Almeria. Going back means a lot to me because I have great memories of my time there," he said, referring to his spell in charge of Almeria between 2006 and 2008.

“Almeria are having a very good spell at the moment, but [former striker and Coach Francisco deserved more success.

“[Sunday's] game will be very demanding, since Almeria will face us in good spirits after beating Celta and Malaga.

“[Grzegorz] Krychowiak, [Stephane] M’Bia and [Benoit] Tremoulinas are injured, the latter dropping out at the last minute because he has a sore knee and is in no fit state to play.

“Nico Pareja’s progressing well and has been named in the [matchday] squad, albeit as a precaution.

“I’m happy with my squad, but the midfield must be assessed after injuries to [Sebastian] Cristoforo and [Stephane] M'Bia.

“Anyone who does come in must improve the squad and be aware of our needs. Despite this, I have no need [to sign anyone]. I think we have enough solutions already here.”
