‘Celta results an unfair reflection’

Nuno Santo has urged Valencia not to underestimate Celta Vigo on Saturday. “They play better than their performances suggest.”

Fourth-placed Los Che need to secure victories in their next two matches to reach the 40-point mark after the first round of fixtures in La Liga, and the Coach is keen for his side to achieve such a feat.

“Celta play better than their results suggest, but I’d love to finish the first round of fixtures with 40 points,” he said at a Press conference.

“Systems are not definitive, rather the philosophy is. We have different ways [of exhibiting our philosophy] and decide [which one is most appropriate].

“Valencia are awaiting [possibilities in] the market because it’s open. Regarding [Joao] Pereira and [Bruno] Zuculini, we’ll look for a solution that’s best for all parties involved.”

Valencia squad for Celta: Diego Alves, Yoel; Barragan, Cancelo, Vezo, Mustafi, Otamendi, Orban; Fuego, Parejo, Perez, Gomes, Filipe, Gil, De Paul; Rodrigo, Alcacer, Negredo.
